I knew from the beginning of my career I wanted to help people love their work, it bothered me that I came across so many people who hated what they do, and I knew it was my vocation to change that. But I got stuck working in consulting, thinking I was helping people to love their work, but finding I was only answering the brief of the leaders of organizations. If those leaders weren’t aligned to helping people like you and me get inspired at work and love their work, I recognized I wasn’t genuinely helping the people I wanted to help.
It wasn’t until I got my own coach and channeled back to what matters to me, and doing it through mediums that I love – research and writing – that I found my way and Love to Work was born. As I thought more about helping people find work they love, I found that working one on one with individual people who have a passion and want to fulfill their goals, was missing, and was something I had to add to my arsenal. I was helping people with my written words, but I knew I could do more by getting face to face with people who wanted to make real changes in their lives.
Why Let’s Love to Work?
I love my work, and I think you should too. My passion for helping people who hate their jobs to create careers they love led me to found the ‘Let’s Love to Work’ initiative.’
‘Let’s Love to Work’ was born out of a research project I set up to help me understand the factors that cause people to love what they do. I wanted to know why some people are so passionate about their work, yet so many of you hate your job and feel lost on your chosen career path.
